How do i bring my money with me?

Yeah, today's post sounds like a question...how do bring my money in Canada with me?

'Till today i've never thought about that for real, but i've realized that waiting for a money transfer from Italy to my new Canadian account could take 'till a week, and i don't like the idea of being penniless for so long.

The solution i like the most is a massive change of money in an italian bank to bring with me and to deposit immediately when i land in my brand new canadian account.

Someone suggest to use Traveler's Cheque, in fact a cheque for travelers ( You don't say ?!) that secures you against robbery and loss...but i don't like it very much...you know, money is money, a cheque is a just a piece of paper that could be refused!

Others suggest to use Western Union, surely fast and reliable, but it takes a good 10% of the sum you wanna transfer...and honestly i don't feel like gifting a few hundred bucks for nothing!

Does anyone of you have any suggestion?
If it is so, please let us know!

Inaugurazione Blog Bilingue

Hi lads,
I'm here today to tell the "world"( or at least all our followers^^) that i'm gonna open the new english version of our blog soon!

Every news will be posted in both italian and english (always considering that my english knowledge is far worse than my italian).

Hope that will help to improve our "fame" (yea, fame -.-) in the web!
Not all the post will be translated immediately, but after a few days they'll certainly be available for all our anglophones friends!

P.S. If someone happen to speak decent french and would like to help us out, it would be very nice to have a french translation too (for all the french/quebequois speakers not so keen on speaking english^^)

Cya!

Volo acquistato e meta fissata!!!

Today i'll not lecture you all with info of a country i still don't know, but i'm here to write a personal post, that kind of post that is pillar and soul of actual blogs.

Me and Miriam have finally bought our flight!!
Rome Fiumicino (even if i'm from lumbardy, the flight from Rome is still cheaper) - Toronto!
We'll leave on the 27 of June, 2 p.m. with Air Transat.

What can i say, the excitement is strong, the stress on my side sincerely not (surely much stronger on Miriam's side xD)

We plan to stay for the first days in a backpackers hostel (with the usual penniless fee), days in which we needda find a permanent accomodation.
Craiglist should come in our help, indeed we've already started to search accomodations that thrill us.

What else?
Actually i don't know, i only know i'm really excited for the forthcoming leaving!

And for everyone who is gonna follow us in this great adventure, give us a call, let us know if you're gonna come with us!
